My first purchase of a product from Amazon proved to be a bit 'a disaster, through no fault of Amazon, I must add. The Toshiba Netbook, which I bought for an upcoming trip to Mexico, came with a serious problem that even the engineers at Toshiba could not solve. For reasons still unknown to me, the Toshiba not have allowed me to connect through wireless card, but allowed me to connect to the Internet via an Ethernet cable. After serious attempts to work, I returned to Amazon for a refund.

This computer is amazing, I just wish I had bought the upgrade the RAM when I bought the computer. The clarity of the screen is amazing and the battery life is very good. I load the computer at home and not take the computer to school without worrying about whether and when the battery dies. The black model of this computer is identical to specific ones in other colors, the case is the only difference (and hence the cheaper price). It has the traditional style of the PC keyboard is made of glossy plastic, I have no problem with. Keyboard Color 'tried to mimic those found on the Mac, which I personally find less at ease in this dimension of a keyboard. Overall I recommend this computer!

Everything is fine, but the lack of an RJ-11. While traveling outside the country, I have RJ-11 phone jacks instead of RJ-45 in some countries. Now I can buy a mini-modem for use Internat.

I will try to keep this short and sweet.

Overall I'm very pleased with this netbook. I spent little time examining the various netbooks currently available, and believed that 1005HA-P had a nice mix of style, battery life, ergonomics and performance (which is basically the same for all the netbooks now).
